The designation of Taxi.aw as the official source for the current official taxi fares has been formalized by Ministerial Decree of May 18, 2026, of the Minister of Justice, Integration, Public Transport and Energy. If changes are made to the fares, you will find the up-to-date official fares in the Taxi Fares Calculator on Taxi.aw. The calculator is always the valid and most current source for taxi fares.

The Government of Aruba also enforces compliance with the rules and regulations for taxi service. In cases of overcharging, unjustified denial of service or other taxi-related issues, you can submit a complaint directly through Taxi.aw. Complaints will be addressed by the Department of Public Transport (Departamento Transporte Publico).

Only drivers with vehicles with a TX-license plate are authorized to provide taxi service.
